The Virna Barolo Noi represents a blend of fruit from four separate villages in the appellation: Monforte d’Alba, La Morra, Verduno, and Novello. Noi, or “us” in Italian, is a little ripe and soft on the mid-palate, with spicy contours of cured tobacco and toasted clove. There are some earthy aromas as well with iris root or even a hint of truffle.
