Over its 150-year wine history, the Ferrer family has established deep roots in some of Spain’s most celebrated winemaking regions: Rías Baixas, Ribera del Duero, and Rioja. Now, the Ferrer Miranda portfolio showcases the best of each of these distinctive regions through its Vionta, Valdubón, Orube, and Amor de Madre wines.
100% Albarino, predominantly from vines older than 15 years. Controlled-temperature fermentation preserves the floral and tropical notes while carefully-selected yeasts increase complexity. 85% of the wine was aged on the lees for 5 months, increasing the wine�s structure. The result is a fresh, well-rounded wine, with balanced acidity. Complex floral and fruit notes, including mango, kiwi, peach, lemon, melon and pineapple. Bright tropical notes balanced by ripe pear. Approachable acidity on the palate, giving way to ripe fruit, then brought to a peak of green apple, apricot and kiwi. Lees maceration provides body, structure, and complexity. Long, aromatic finish, with just a touch of bitter almond, a classic characteristic of the varietal.
