Acre’s Texas Smoked Single Malt Whisky is made from Texas barley that is smoked, malted and distilled at Acre Distilling Co. in Fort Worth, Texas. 40% of the barley for this whisky is smoked over Texas pecan and peach wood. This whisky is aged in used Acre bourbon barrels giving it color and character similar to Scottish whiskies aged in similar barrels. It is light in color with a discernible but not overpowering smoky aroma at the start and finish.
