The Prunier VSOP Grande Champagne Cognac is a testament to the exceptional quality of the Grande Champagne terroir, often referred to as the Premier Cru of Cognac. This blend is composed of eaux-de-vie aged 7 to 8 years in 200 and 400-liter oak barrels, exclusively sourced from the renowned Grande Champagne area. The terroir, characterized by its clay-limestone soils, specifically from the villages of Lignières-Ambleville, Touzac, and Angeac-Champagne, imparts a refined and balanced profile to this Cognac.
Eye: Brilliant gold color.
Nose: Fruity but structured bouquet with notes of peach, refined tannins, and a combination of dried fruits such as fresh hazelnut, walnuts, and almonds.
Palate: Natural roundness balanced with structure and precision. A great balance between the nose and the palate, with a spicy and elegant finish. Beautiful length in finesse and spices.
