Larressingle Napoleon Armagnac is a mature expression from the historic Gascony producer, positioned above their VSOP in age and complexity. Aged extensively in oak (typically reflecting 10+ years of maturation), this 80 proof (40% ABV) Armagnac balances rich fruit notes with complex spice, integrated oak, and developing rancio characteristics.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A complex bouquet offering rich dried fruits like apricot, prune, and fig, layered with vanilla bean, caramel, toasted oak, and distinct baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove). Hints of leather, toasted walnuts, and emerging earthy/nutty rancio notes add depth.
• Palate: Smooth and well-rounded with a medium-to-full body. Flavors of stewed fruits, prune compote, vanilla custard, and brown sugar meld with complex spice notes and well-integrated oak tannins. Developing notes of toasted nuts and early rancio character provide sophistication.
