Komos Reserva Anejo Tequila

Komos Añejo Reserva Tequila is a luxury, ultra-premium tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, hand-harvested from the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco. The piñas are roasted in traditional stone ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. This Añejo is aged for at least 12 months in a combination of French oak white wine barrels and American oak whiskey barrels. This dual barrel aging contributes to its complex and refined character. Like other Komos expressions, it undergoes gentle aeration to enhance the mouthfeel and richness. It is presented in a distinctive, handmade opaque black ceramic bottle designed for upcycling.

Tasting Notes:

• Aroma: Features notes of rich vanilla, toasted nuts, and sweet agave, layered with hints of spice and dried fruit from the oak aging. Some also detect caramel and a touch of chocolate.
• Palate: Smooth and full-bodied, with a harmonious blend of cooked agave sweetness, oak influence, and warm spice. Expect flavors of vanilla, caramel, toffee, and possibly a touch of dark fruit or leather. The whiskey barrel aging may impart subtle notes of bourbon character.
• Finish: Long and satisfying, with a warm and lingering finish that echoes the sweet and spicy notes, often with a hint of oak and a velvety texture.
