Distiller Comments: Kilkerran Single Malt is produced at the historic Campbeltown distillery, Glengyle, originally founded by the Mitchell family and owned by the J&A Mitchell group since its re-build and resumption of production in 2004.

We pride ourselves on completing all parts of the whisky production process here on site, from the traditional floor maltings conducted at our sister distillery, Springbank, to the bottling of every edition at our bottling hall here in Campbeltown. Sharing a production team and calendar with the neighbouring Springbank Distillery, Glengyle has a short production period of around three months per year, typically operational from October – December.
