Expect smoky flavors when aging in these fresh-dumped, peated Islay Scotch Barrels. Received straight from a distillery on the island of Islay in Scotland.
Note: As is common with Scotch whisky barrels, these are made from the charred, white oak staves of former American bourbon barrels. Dimensions vary (see photos), but size in gallons held is more consistent. Midwest Barrel Co. will send barrels of the same dimensions for orders of multiple barrels while supplies last.
