Introducing Dru from Indri, a striking cask strength expression at 57.2% ABV, meticulously blended from selected ex-Bourbon barrels. In Sanskrit, ‘Dru’ means wood, tree, or a vessel made of wood. In ancient Indian mythology, Dru was a vessel in which ‘soma’ (a drink) was collected and offered to the Gods. Indri’s Single Malt Indian whisky, distilled and matured in Northern India’s subtropical climate, experiences 10 to 12% loss due to evaporation yearly, yet the accelerated maturation imprints a unique dimension. Nose the exhilarating mixed fruit, vanilla, spice, chocolate, and honey. Relish the sweet, fruit-forward palate with soft spice, vanilla, chocolate, wood lactones, and citrus twists. This complex, full-bodied dram offers a long mixed fruit finish.
