Winter was a warmer in Pope Valley than is the norm, and spring brought moderate temperatures with little moisture, encouraging an early bud break. Grapes languished lazily on the vine in the typical summer heat, ripening fully with complex, rich flavors. Some September rain was quickly followed by breezy, warm and sunny weather keeping the harvest on track and on schedule, with picking at Allomi beginning in late September.
