Glendalough Rose Gin

Glendalough Rose Gin is a beautifully aromatic and naturally pink gin crafted by Glendalough Distillery in County Wicklow, Ireland. It was first created to honor the head distiller’s mother, Rose. This gin is made by re-distilling their Wild Botanical Gin with an abundance of fresh rose petals, including wild roses from the Wicklow mountains, heritage roses, and Damask roses. After distillation, it’s further infused with more roses to deepen the flavor and enhance its lovely pink hue. It is bottled at 37.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Very aromatic with soft juniper notes, beautifully perfumed with fresh rose. Hints of bright lemon and blood orange can also be detected.
• Palate: Gentle and slightly sweet spice with a distinct rose petal flavor. Bright berries and citrus notes with a nectar-like sweetness come through. Some describe a Turkish Delight characteristic.
• Finish: Long and floral, with the rose notes lingering alongside pink peppercorn and a touch of earthy spices.
