Galliano has undergone a few reincarnations/reformulations over the years. This is the most current and original recipe. There was a sweeter version at 60 proof (30%) but that one is being phased out, prior to that is a 80 proof (40%). Originally made in Livorno Italy and now made by Lucas Bols in Holland it uses seven infusions/macerations and six distillations of over 30 herbs and spices in it’s formula.
