Fundador Brandy de Jerez Light 56 is a Spanish brandy from Jerez, known for its lighter style and lower alcohol content (56 proof / 28% ABV) compared to traditional brandies. It’s produced by Fundador, one of the oldest and most respected brandy houses in Spain.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Expect a lighter and fresher aroma compared to standard brandies. Notes of white grape, green apple, and subtle floral hints are common. There might be a delicate touch of vanilla and a hint of the sherry casks, but less pronounced than in older expressions.
• Palate: The palate will be smooth and light-bodied, with a gentle sweetness. Flavors of fresh fruit, particularly white grape and pear, will be prominent. The oak influence will be subtle, contributing a hint of vanilla and a touch of spice. Its lower alcohol content makes it very easy to drink.
• Finish: The finish will be short and clean, with the fruity notes fading quickly. A very subtle hint of oak may linger.
