The vineyards are located at a high altitude of 730 to 750 meters above sea level, with plentiful sunshine and cooling nights on the volcanic soils of Mount Etna. The Nerello Mascalese grapes are harvested by hand in October, when the layers of flavor are fully formed and the acidity is fresh and zesty. The red grapes are softly crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 to 12 days with daily pump-overs and one délestage at the halfway point. The wine is aged in a mix of stainless steel tanks and wood. 13.0% ABV
