About Brotherhood
Brotherhood Winery is located in Washingtonville, New York. With its first commercial vintage produced in 1839, it is commonly acknowledged to be the oldest operating winery in the United States. In 2000 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The winery’s slogan is “America’s Oldest Winery”.
The tradition of mulled wine in our country goes back to before the Revolution, when it was quaffed piping hot in taverns, inns and homes. Brotherhood’s Holiday Wine carries on this colonial tradition. Its moderate sweetness is enhanced with Brotherhood’s secret blend of herbs and spices, like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice.
