Blueberry Grunt Liquor
Inspired by the traditional recipe of Atlantic Canada, the Blueberry Grunt is a delicious and unique dessert made with tea biscuit dumplings cooked in wild blueberries and often with a splash of lemon. Serve with ice cream or whip cream.
The name is said to come from the “grunting” sound the blueberries make while being cooked. This joyful and tasty Maritime treat can now be sipped as a perfect addition to lemonade, tea, baked goods, or on its own.
