From the rolling clay-limestone hills of Castagnole Lanze and Costigliole d’Asti in Piedmont, this classic Barbera d’Asti by Bosio delivers richness, charm, and everyday elegance. Grown at 200–300 meters above sea level and trained in the traditional Guyot method, the grapes are vinified with 6 days of skin contact, followed by a gentle rest in stainless steel and 6 months in oak barrels—enough to round the edges without muting the fruit.
The result is a ruby-red wine with bright, inviting aromas of dark cherries, red plum, and a whisper of sweet spice. On the palate, it’s silky and smooth, with gentle tannins, vibrant acidity, and a lingering finish that makes it a versatile companion for a wide range of dishes.
Serve at 18°C and pair with cheese platters, tomato-based pasta, mushroom risottos, roasted chicken, or traditional brasato al Barolo. A perfect mid-week red with weekend soul.
