The whisky is initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels for 7 years, followed by a secondary maturation in smaller 125-liter quarter casks made of American oak. This process increases the whisky’s contact with the oak, resulting in a more intense and rapid maturation. Bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial coloring, it offers a pure and robust flavor profile.
