Anejo Partida Tequila

Partida Añejo Tequila is a premium, 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila sourced from estate-grown agave in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is harvested at 7-10 years old and the tequila is aged for 18 months in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels. Partida emphasizes an “agave-first” mentality, aiming to showcase the pure flavors of the plant without the use of additives. They control the entire production process at a single distillery.

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Intense golden with copper and bronze tones.
• Aroma: Refined aromas of oak, chocolate, dried fruits, and butter are prominent, often accompanied by notes of cooked agave, whiskey, caramel, and a hint of spice. Some detect maraschino cherry, ripe pear, and oxidized pineapple.
• Palate: A pleasant spice is noted on the tongue, with flavors of black and green pepper, white oak, vanilla, and maple honey. Some describe butterscotch, toasted oak, cinnamon, and cracked pepper, along with a smooth, slightly woody character and notes of caramel and Brazil/walnut.
• Finish: Smooth with a lasting warmth. Some find hints of bitter dark chocolate, dry hazelnut, and a lingering spice.
