We were very excited to see this one back. We had planned to run with it for a while but then someone took a huge position on it, and it was gone. We’ve had numerous requests for it since it sold-out. It is now back at the same pre-tariff price. The following is from the original offer:
The Côtes de Bourg region is perched over the confluence of the Dordogne and Garonne Rivers at the start of the Gironde estuary. This compact, hilly appellation looks across the estuary to Margaux and its flatlands. Bourg is the sunniest and driest of Bordeaux’s appellations. The Chateau de Monteberiot is a stately, Merlot dominant wine, rich with Bordeaux’s classicism, and a great value.
A rich wine with plenty of black currants and spice that comes from four plots. The 2016 was the vintage of the decade and this wine is in a perfect spot for drinking now
